I think you can roughly translate it to "Crazy Farmer" , I was a little bit rough when I was younger, at least that was what my family said. Everything was a challenge which meaned I should try it.
Nowadays I have calmed down and enjoy life with my wife and daughter, hunting with crossbow, compound bow and rifle at every opportunity. (see pic)

Easy... My name is Jack and I'm an aeorspace engineer raised on the Space Cadet novel by Robert Heinlein and later The Adventures of Tom Corbett Space Cadet on TV.

That's my screen name history. The avatar is Achmed, the Dead Terrorist, by ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. One of the few people who can take my breath away laughing.

G.G.

Across the hwy from the Mo Ranch entrance is Cherry Springs Road. Follow it out till it forks, take the right fork, follow it out till there is no more road and your there. About a 40 minute drive from the Hunt store.

pdislow:

I fly over to Llano on sunny Saturdays and take the van into town to eat at Coopers BBQ. I buy their dry rub by the case.

Funny as we do work in that area around the MO Ranch and we also do work for the guy who owns Coopers Barbque. He is from Junction and has been the longest standing builder there. His name is Buzz. Really! He signs checks Buzz. I've known Buzz for at least 20 years, but I didn't think his Barbque was that good?  I'm spoiled to my own I guess.

I picked Buckeye because I live in the buckeye state. It has nothing to do with the football team. Dan is my real name. So Buckeye Dan says Dan from Ohio but sounds better.

My avatar is my largest Boone & Crockett buck. Score: 15 points 178 3/8 NT. I would like to change my avatar to a 200+ buck in the near future but I don't see that happening. It's been several years since I have even seen one that size.

I live in Williamsburg, VA, the colonial capital of the Virginia Colony.  The Union Jack flies over the Governor's Palace in the restored Colonial Area.  The Colonial Area is portrayed as if it were 1774.
A great number of America's founding fathers were Freemasons, hence my avatar is the Masonic emblem.

Here's something I would find interesting to learn about everyone. Why your avatar name? Is there a story behind it?

Yep. I'm musician and in one of my past bands I played bass and the singer gave me the nickname Davydtune the Mater Basser. Davydtune has stuck since.

When my Grandpa Beck saw my birth cert. , he said "He's gonna be a Hoss."  Later on in life, my attitude may have been looked upon as stuborn like a Hoss (Horse).

Well i had to make one up cause the only thing i have ever done well was i was assistant to a fishing guide and a master at baiting ...
I decided kennisondan was better than the obvious alternative...lol
dk
baiting mastery could lead to snide and snippy little remarks and smirks of all sorts...

Many years ago I attended Texas A&M's adjunct summer camp just outside Junction, TX.
Spent the entire summer there fishing and swimming in the Llano river.  I was going to A&M's summer school for freshmen (Fish) prior to going to College Station in the fall.  At that time A&M was NOT coed and ROTC was mandatory.
I didn't get a chance to hunt while there, but saw many deer while hiking through the hills in the area.

African Horisontal Bow Hunter from South Africa.
I am currently shooting with a compound bow (Mathews DXT) but my first love is to own and shoot an Excalibur but the exchange rate and postage is currently making it very difficult to obtain and there is no dealers locally that stock them. Maybe one of you guys/gals coming to hunt here can somehow help me out by bringing it with:):drool5:

WELCOME, AHBH. Hope to hear some good hunting stories from you. And if I could go to Africa, I would certainly bring you an Excalibur!!

This is the oldest, but bigest body deer I ever got with a vertical bow. I got it on my fathers place before he died.
The older I get, the better I used to be.
