Well i had to make one up cause the only thing i have ever done well was i was assistant to a fishing guide and a master at baiting ...
I decided kennisondan was better than the obvious alternative...lol

baiting mastery could lead to snide and snippy little remarks and smirks of all sorts...

My ears did burn this weekend .. I was afraid I would turn to stone, so I spent the weekend in the  meditation.of..medication... and am just returned from my artificially induced religious experience LOL JKidding..
what would be interesting is if my avatar name was kennisondan and my name was something else...a different name...

a nickname I used to have was mobile... like in alabama .. when folks asked : I admitted not being from alabama and not being ever in Mobile.. eventually I had to relate that I just did not want to be called Port Barre..
Made sense to me.. LOL

I fought getting a computer for as long as I could, about 58 yrs total, lol.  I came up w/ an idea xbow related that I wanted to research so my battle was lost.

As I discovered the wonderful world of dial-up, viruses, ect., I also learned about screen names.

Being somewhat self taught on computers, I was doing an awful lot of swearing at this point in my life, so 'awshucks' seemed to be appropriate.
Move along now, nothing to see here

I did a lot of hiking many years ago, I got vanity plates also (hikng) I think when I joined my first web site (long time ago) The first two choices were not allowed, so I went with hiking. Now I'm logged in as hiking on all the sites I'm on.

I worked at an organization where we had "swing" shifts that were based on seniority.  This organization also had a knack for handing out nicknames, too.  Most people of course strived and hoped for a nickname they liked but it wasn't always the case cause sometimes they got one for doing a bonehead thing.  Others got them strictly based on their name, things they might have said, and even good things they did.  I had a couple during my career, all of which I liked, but the last one being "graveyard zombie".  I had the seniority to have any shift I wanted and I chose the midnight (graveyard) shift as my preference.  My last 12 years at work of a 38 year career I was the most senior Sergeant and oldest person working midnights.  I loved the shift but couldn't sleep more than 4 to 5 hours after getting home usually around 8:30 a.m.  I was in roll call one night and was asked why I loved this shift so much and did I have any complaints about it.  I told them I loved the shift for a lot of reasons, mainly being the highest ranking supervisor working since all higher supervisors / administrators above me were "sleeping daywalkers", and my only complaint would be the lack of good sleep made me go around during the day feeling like a zombie.  So the "graveyard zombie" was born until my retirement day of March 1, 2008.  However I still like this nickname so I continue to use it on this forum and my fantasy football teams.  The avatar was created for my fantasy football teams so I also use it here.

Just joined and decided to read all the names; interesting!  I use this same name on many shooting, reloading, and hunting forums.  I own a Colt Python and a Colt Government 1911 among many other guns and my last name is Christopher; hence the nickname Chris.  There you have it, plain & simple!  Preparing to buy my first crossbow since its now legal in MI for us old farts!  See my first question under Ten Point.

I love to travel and roam around different places. Someone once told me I had a restless spirit and that I was a Roamer.

That is where my name comes from.:D
