has anyone used a ez-fletch to fletch crosbow bolts?i am looking at it and one from cabelas .

which ez-fletch do yall use? is the carbon the one to get? and how are yall adressing the nock issue. i have moon nocks. thanks again yall.

The aluminum arrow EZ fletch (green) fits crossbow carbons. I use arrows with removable nocks (press fit) then insert a standard arrow nock shimmed up with Gorilla Duct Tape so I can slide it into the arrow. It in turn fits the nock holder of the EZ.

I got the grayling with right helical, and while it may be more time consuming than others, I only got it to repair my own arrows, and it does so very well. I made a little modification to the x-bow rec to locate the moon nocks consistently. Best $25 I've spent in a while. I was thinking about the ez fletch, but liked the adjustability of the grayling.

is the best engineered fletching jig. I sold mine years ago before we had quick drying glues. I fletched a lot of arrows and the Multi Fletcher by Jo Jan was the ticket for me and I never saw the difference in accuracy performance, and still don't, so I'll continue using it and the Mono Fletcher. It works.

I have already blather on about the AZ EZ-Fletcher, but, since you ask, they work great for crossbow arrows, and contrary to some other posts I've read, they are very durable. I have used the same one for over 10 years with no problems, and I fletch several dozen arrows a year.  I had a set of Bitzes, and they were relegated to the closet for several years for the "just in case" factor, and I finally sold them. You can't go wrong with an AZ-EZ.

My new/old bow has a latch cover/scope mount that requires that the back end of the fletch be 1 3/4" from the back of the (flat) nock. Which jig will allow that, and accomodate 5" vanes?
