It seems like alot of states are getting or trying to get on the wagon. This should be a boom for crossbow manufacturers. Hunter2

I'd like to think of this as a boon for sportsmen/women and potential new sportsmen/women and kids.

I wish California would...but for California that would be quite dramatic...it would better and faster for me to relocate somewhere else!

Excal Exomax
Bowtech Destroyer 350
Bear Grizzly Traditional....and many other bows

Beings I spend quite a bit of time in California I wouldn't think it would be too daunting a task. If the eco-weanies can pull of the lead-free business in the condor range, I don't see how tough crossbows equalling less rifle hunting wouldn't have an appeal to the anti-gun nutz out there.

Heck, they even allow the use of air rifles out there for some hunting.
In some ways Pennsylvania is even more restrictive than California.

Well it seems, that "our opposition" is for some odd reason counting on the Senate to stop this? I find that confusing and a bit "odd" because in my opinion it's pretty safe bet they wouldn't have pulled it out unless they had the votes to pull this off, despite the claims of "the senior senate " and "cooler heads will prevail", (nothing cool or even level headed about what the BOC has done now)

I'm going to have to say , with so many PA crossbow sales (to date) they're going to realize the revenue they'd be costing PA (at this time when they can ill afford to do so) , also I expect that they'll sympathize with those who spent hard earned $$$ in good faith to only get "sold out" soon afterward to a small but vocal special interest group......

So .........IMHO IF YOU are for this bill, you might want to and get everyone that you can to remind the Senate of the things that matter, like revenue, doing the right thing, not flip flopping around , good people (voters) who spend hard earned money in good faith......etc.etc. etc.

You can bet that "they" (our opposition) are trying (and betting they can) to get the Senate to vote against this........not because it's the right thing to do , it's because they know when crossbows become legal bows they will have to share equally with what they claim "isn't archery" despite all the clear facts to the contrary......

I sincerely hope that some are also taking the time to let the PA Legislature know this is not about "concern for the resources" the other side is intentionally throwing out good and valid PA data , to "try to use" that as an excuse when the fact is, there is data proving no harm to the resources......

Do they know this? Maybe , if not they certainly should be convinced IMHO , also I HOPE they've been let in on that Weaner admits this has nothing to do with Biologist's recomendations but he still agrees with the UBP (which have the obvious agenda here to keep crossbows out of the rut).......:puke:
