I haven't heard anything new, but I called, Raleigh 2 weeks ago , and they said the new crossbow law won't go into effect until next year. But then again, you know how politics are.

This is a bit confusing to me. Am not sure if crossbows will be allowed this year or next.

I talked to a warden friend today and he said it didn't pass for this year.To hunt with a crossbow you will need a disability form from a doctor to get a permit.I have arthritis and can't shoot a reg bow anymore.I got my permit two weeks ago to get back in bow hunting.Meybe next year.God Bless.
