I haven't heard anything new, but I called, Raleigh 2 weeks ago , and they said the new crossbow law won't go into effect until next year. But then again, you know how politics are.:sifone:

I talked to a warden friend today and he said it didn't pass for this year.To hunt with a crossbow you will need a disability form from a doctor to get a permit.I have arthritis and can't shoot a reg bow anymore.I got my permit two weeks ago to get back in bow hunting.Meybe next year.God Bless.

Thanks for clarifying this.  Hope to hear NC will be allowing crossbows next year.  Sorry for your disability, but glad you'll be able to get back to bow hunting.  Good luck to you.

crossbows during archery season. It's only a matter of time before my home state comes around, as they should.
