what does everyone use/recommend for a broadhead target?

i currently have "the block crossbow"    which proved DECENT at best for life span using field tips. I shot about 15-20 broadhead shots and its done...

so i was looking at the newer fusion block or the bone collector broadhead target or morrell broadhead target

but have heard bone collector and morrells are very hard to remove the arrow...

seems the rinehart 18-1 looks good but it seems quite small and wouldnt it deflect or roll around after getting shot at??

so can someone offer me advice :D

thank you for your time

I can only report on the Morrell Broad head.  I've been practicing with the Trufire Switchblade (crossbow version) with the practice tips and a Predator crossbow.  Bolt was sinking into the target past the fletching and was damaging the fletching.  Happened to have a fair amount of packing cardboard around, so I placed several layers behind the Morrell.  Now the practice tip just emerges, allowing me to remove the practice tip and remove the bolt with fletching unharmed.  When removing the bolt, I twist then pull. By the way, the Switchblade practice tips fly true to the field bolts I use.

The Rinehart 18-1 is HEAVY, dense polyfoam and it will not move on you!
It is a bit small, but perfect for shooting 35 yards and under.
Is stops broadheads easily and bolt removal is no problem.
Guaranteed for a year if you can shoot out all 18 target faces.
I love mine.

Bonus for being a "small" target:
It fits easily in the car which means you can take it to camp with you and practice or unload your crossbow each evening after the hunt.  Field tip or broadhead for the unload...not a problem!

I like the 18-1 too.  Easy arrow removal and with the 1 year warrenty, it's hard to beat.

I'll have to go to basspro and check them out
Can you still should field tips into the rinehart?

Otherwise I was planning a spider web target for field and one of the above for broadheads and should be set for a long tim

i am a little different..i bought the morrell yellow jacket, for b/h only. rated for bows and b/h up to 300fps. perfect for my needs...my bow wont shoot but about 285-90. shot it a bunch and holding up good. it is a little bulky because it is a big target. but if you have a faster bow for sure the rhineheart 18-1

I'm using American Whitetail's Crossbow King but the arrows are really hard to pull out.  It could be because I'm using the Sonic practice blades which are not sharp, but I'm not sure.  Seems like they are a lot tougher to remove than they should be.

Fusion works great.......broadheads don't damage much and easy to remove.
The arrow hole seems to heal up after removal.:)

I am using the 18 - 1 with a 2010 parker Cyclone - field points so far and it takes two people to pull the arrow out?  Is this normal?

Yep its normal
Spray some of your rail lube on the first like 6" of the arrows and they will pull out 10x easier
More you use target, easier it gets

I have been using the Block Fusion 18" Very tough. The holes made by the broadheads and field points  close up and heal after removal. Easy to pull
arrows out.

I shoot both BH and field points into my Rinehart 18:1. Easy removal for both. I bought an Excal arrow puller (pliers type) from the Excal US rep, Danny Miller in Ohio (740-483-2312) for $16 and it makes pulling arrows out no problem at all. I don't use any lube at all. It works on all my Excal arrows and Horton arrows. Makes arrow retrieval no problem at all. I've shot through a lot of targets with my crossbows and I have to say that the Rinehart 18:1 has been the best for me thus far! :D

i use the rinehart 18-1 target. bow shoots about 385-390. i do have a little trouble getting the arrows out. in winter i set the target on the register in the house to warm the target up and this helps.
