Buddly's album

I started an album here for your enjoyment. (actually a little bragging going on.)

And for a more closer look at what Buddly is all about you can look here.

I enjoyed the pictures and seeing your "other life."   Tried to check them out yesterday, but wouldn't work.  Figured you would get it fixed.  Been sitting here all night waiting.   ABOUT TIME!  :)  Oh, I see you got it fixed yesterday.   Must have fell asleep.

I'm doing okay although this body I am in isn't doing so hot. But the Lord is giving me a new one, so why worry about it?

I was thinking that same thing as I was going thru the years of pictures on my hard drive. Looking back is enlightening.

I remember when I started hunting in '78, doing everything wrong, how hard it was to kill my first deer. That didn't happen until '81. Compare that to the last 5 years and I see a vast improvement.

Checkout our first hunting "cabin". The trailer in the picture album now sits where this one was. It's a 1954 International School Bus.

Buddly, you and I started hunting around the same time.  I was just like you as it took me a few years to get my first deer also.  That was in either '81 or '82.  I think I just wanted one so bad I got too shook up!  Plus I did some dumb stuff.  Boy, did I do a lot of dumb stuff!  Some people wish they could go back to their younger years, and although there were some great times, I'm happy to be where I am now.  A little older, a little wiser, and somewhat calmer.  :)   Plus at our age we know how to act like we are doing something while really getting the youngsters to do it all!  :)

I too started deer hunting and killed my 1st in "81" but I was an upland game hunter since "62" It took a while to get a understanding of deer and to calm down when the big boys came by. Man if I had some of them shots back I would have the whole Surprime court on the wall behind my desk maybe more.
