When I was in my twenties, I went to a sale at the stock pens.  It was the first time I had ever been to an auction.  A nice fat heifer was brought in but her back hooves were crooked and twisted up.  She could walk, but in a weird, stumbling sort of way.  I remember it went for $40.00.  Anyway, the auctioneer called out, "Here comes one that isn't tracking right!"

So every time I can't get around very good I always say, "I'm not tracking right yet."  That is the way it is this morning.  Man, it sure is beautiful out there today.  Sunshine is brightening up the colorful ridges along with crisp morning air. Steady breeze out of the west and mostly blue sky.  Sure would be nice to use up my doe tags during bow season.  That would be a first.  Hopefully I will get to tracking right here in a little while and can get out there.  :D

I'm doing okay although this body I am in isn't doing so hot. But the Lord is giving me a new one, so why worry about it?

Ranger, I understand what your talking about.  You are in my prayers.  I enjoy your outlook and your stories.  I hope you have more on track days than off.

Ranger keep the faith bud you'll be back on track soon. Eat your Wheaties. I was hoping to be down in Va this weekend but son wants to come home this weekend.

I appreciate you guys.  I wasn't complaining, just jibber jabbing.  Everyone here is like a good friend so I just throw out stuff like I was sitting around with you at hunting camp.  Probably don't make sense sometimes, but everyone mostly seems like they can look over me when I act crazy!

Sometimes I can track right for a bit, and sometimes I have to sit it out.  I got several major health problems, but that is okay.  Like Ischa says:  Don't sweat the petty stuff!  Whether in this body or out of it I already got eternal life, and when I get out of it I won't hurt or be sick anymore!  So either way, I got a lot to look forward to.

I don't mean to blab about all my problems for attention.  I do think the Lord allowed all these things on me so that I can be a witness to how faithful He is.  It might seem bad, but I'm so bad He had to do something that would stand out at least as much as how mean I am!

This is THE BEST forum I have been a part of.  Something about the chemistry on here is rather special.  So, thanks again guys for giving me a shout, and everyone else too that I get to jack the jaw with.  I appreciate you all.

I understand not tracking right. I don't think I ever have? This past few weeks have been worse. I had to go with a smaller rental tractor with a 4 foot mower deck, so I had to work fast to get everything shredded in two days, so I ran that poor lil tractor in High 3rd gear. I tried it in High 4th, but I couldn't hang on! I now know what that safety belt is for, but I ain't using it.
It beat me to death and my back is still paying for that. I pinched that nerve that runs from the lower center of the back, down my cheek and to the calve of my leg. Argh! The changing weather doesn't help the bones either. So, I know all about how you feel. But, we keep on trucking along anyway, huh? Its part of having too much fun! Life is an Adventure. It's all good, and way better than the alternative. There- I shared in your pain so you should feel much better now, just in time for the weekend.

live a full, normal life will get to where there are some mobility problems. Ranger, I'm sorry that yours seem to have come at a relatively early age. Just like your earthly father wouldn't put any kind of illness on you, I seriously believe that your Heavenly Father wouldn't place illness on you either; however, I do believe He will give you the strength to deal with it in a constructive way. I also believe illness, diseases, and other bad things entered the world thru satan(lack of capitalization is intentional). You need to get that 33rd deer!

Guide Girl, I feel better now!  I need a good weekend.

SEW, I am working as hard as I can on number 33.  Went out this evening, but did not see anything.  I am going to try my best to get to tracking right early in the morning.  I think that big moon is messing things up in the evening right now.  I sure would like to get 3 with the bow this year.  Never done that before.  I've gotten 2, but never 3.   Never got more than 3 deer total in a year either, but I started out pretty good and might just break that record.  Maybe I can get 34 and 35!

Maad, do you reckon if we got together we could lean on each other and walk a little straighter?  :)

Ranger as long as I can lean on your right side with my left - your left side would have to be good - we might track straight.  Once I get this old bones healed I might track a little straighter - but I've never been one to be totally straight - I've always been a half bubble off.  I won't be out this weekend - but I am hoping to be out on the 7th of November.  There's still lots of deer out there.  God bless ya Ranger.

The wife says my brain never has tracked right!  Boy, I hope you can get out to hunt on the 7th, Sporty.  If we lived close by each other I'd be tickled to offer my right side.  You would just have to put up with crazy stories all the way to your hunting spot.  :D

Well, I am up early and tracking fairly well so far.  I think I will go out for a little bit and see what happens.

Hey Dave,

Well, first thing happened my Huv A Round (ATV) would not start.  Think I need a new spark plug.  So, I drove my truck up the ridge to my stand.  A turkey was headed my way, but saw the truck.  He let out a big "PERT!" and he was gone.  Hey, we could sing that to the tune of Hee Haw's "Where are you tonight?"  "You saw my truck and then "PERT!" you were gone."  :D

Dave, I am at the other end of the state.  I mostly stay on my own place and hunt so I don't have to buy a license.  I will probably get my rifle license so I can mosey over onto my neighbor's place some.  He likes for me to hunt with him.  Then he gets mad because I get something and he doesn't.  :P
