Just got back from Grayling Mi hunting for a few days. No luck as only one day without rain. Stayed in white canvas wall tent and had a great time anyway with friends. Still looking forward to getting a deer with crossbow

Well I am certainly sorry to hear that you did not have any luck with the deer, I like your attitude, still looking forward. I bet being in that tent with friends, swapping stories and telling jokes is a story in and of itself. Better luck next time.

Anything to what I hear about you all having some holes in the tent walls from practicing with crossbows inside?
I'm sure you will get to try that crossbow out on a deer yet.

I'm doing okay although this body I am in isn't doing so hot. But the Lord is giving me a new one, so why worry about it?

coot it's like to told my boys any day hunting is good killing means work and also something has to die. I enjoy the sit regardless of if I talk something or not. Sounds like you still had a good time with friends. Sorry you were not able to connect with a deer. Make a trip to DC area I'll put you on all the deer you want.
