3rd shot, 3rd kill. Shot this hog at 28 yards. Double lung complete pass through. Ran 50 yards and piled up.

This one was a sow with a dressed weight of 75 pounds. A friend killed a boar with a dressed weight of 130 pounds. I pass on ALL boars - meat can be uneatable.

3 and 3.  That is great.  You have some fine eating there.  Congratulations!

I'm doing okay although this body I am in isn't doing so hot. But the Lord is giving me a new one, so why worry about it?

RGR that's quite a record you've got so far.  Good shooting and good eating.  That's about the right size for good eating.  Seems like you got it all together.

3 for 3, good job Rockin'G! Me and the others there in San Jac county thank you for thinning out some of those pesky critters. That's a good one for the eating.

TripleM,
I know what you mean by "..so little time and so many things to do..". I should be at the Ranch the early part of Thanksgiving week. Call me if I forget to call you. Good hunting and shoot straight!

Well, alright! Way to go! This weekend was a good weekend for hogs according to the moon. Butch got a nice boar, but I chose the wrong feeder again. They were at my other spot at 8:30PM on Thursday night, and Butchs spot at 8:30PM but he didn't hunt. Rrrr! I chose wrong again grasshopper! I had bad luck all weekend.

GG,
I know what you mean. I'd rather be "lucky" than "good" anytime! The odds are more in your favor!

LOL! That's the trouble. I'm used to being very lucky. It's gone! I'm gonna have to work really hard now to be successful with my hunting. I must be lucky in love or something else right now. Wish I knew which area it went to.
