I came in from my stand, got me a cold soda, took off my boots, and sat down in the easy chair to relax.  No sooner I got set down there was a knock at the door.  I put down my drink, fought my way up out of the chair and shuffled to the door.  I opened it up and my butt came dragging in.  ;)

I'm doing okay although this body I am in isn't doing so hot. But the Lord is giving me a new one, so why worry about it?

Ranger, I'm so glad you got it together.  I had a rough night last night, got about 2.5 hrs sleep (never more that 45 min at a time).  PT guy came by and worked me over and been hurting ever since.  Fallen asleep a couple of times in my chair.  Oh well as these old bones start to heal a little better I hope and pray I can last a bit longer.  So since your butt caught up and you are all together again - relax and enjoy that soda.  I'm trying to do a little reloading etc. trying to get ready incase the Dr's and my wife okay me to sit in a ground blind next weekend.

I had to work all day yesterday after I got out of the stand in the AM. I sat in the blind yesterday evening and I was soo tired that I kept falling asleep in my tree. I woke up one time and saw a spike stroll thru. He had one unbranched antler and the other had a nub off one side. I took aim and then decided to pass. He never came to the feeder and was gone in a minute. I woke up again and it was dark. I told myself I should get home and go to bed. But , I swapped out the SD card in the game cam and looked at what else strolled thru while I was snoreing. Then I wnet home. Resting today after church and cooking dinna for two of my daughters. Both birthdays are today , 21 & 24.. In the tree in the morning before work. Maybe I will be awake & alert.

You really have a sense of "timing".

I can relate Ranger
I had a Kidney Transplant 2 years ago and the meds keep me exhausted most of the time.
I don't own feeders and trail cams and the like so my work is all done by me.I feed up with a 5 gallon bucket and walk to each location (5 of them)
Put up all my own stands and blinds and it wears me out.
But I love it.

I won't be naping after work. Not enuf time to nap then get into the treestand for the evening sit.

There's been times, Ranger, when I left for work in the morning and past my butt  coming in from the day before:eek:
