This is the spot he came in right to left, he was staring at me so I waited until his head was behing the tree  on the left to bring up the bow.

Congrats on a nice buck. What's planted in your food plot? I enjoy working the dirt for my food plots almost as much as hunting!

Good looking buck!  Looks like the boys had a good time with the pictures.  I bet they were tickled to give you a hand.  Congratulations!

I'm doing okay although this body I am in isn't doing so hot. But the Lord is giving me a new one, so why worry about it?

Congratulations on the buck!!!!  Good Job!  Looks like you had enough help that even had it been uphill you'd a made it w/o too much trouble.  Downhill just made it that much easier.  Again congratulations.

Thanks all - I have hunted small game but just started deer hunting this year. That was my first deer so it was exciting, I do have say I felt bad for a minute right after I shot but I guess most people do. The kids definitely enjoyed it and like hunting so far as well.

I almost hit a doe last night on the way home from dropping the deer at a butcher.  This guy is great an old local guy who lives on the same property as his shop you can drop in almost any time. He was telling me up until last year he left the door open and you could just drop your deer inside but last year some stole some deer.

Mike - I love the Tornado it is dead on, I like that it is narrow it is easier to manuever in the woods. The only thing I don't like is the quiver mount it is in my way sometimes. I would recommend checking it out to anyone considering a new crossbow.

Rockin-G - my property ends at the woods, the farmer just has some kind of grass in there this year but there are cornfields on two sides of it.

Good luck, I hope eveyones season is going well.

Glad to see a Tornado took one Down , Hay its ok to feel bad for a minuet ,But think about the meat you just provided for your Family .
Hay you know you can move the quiver mount to the right side and it will be out of your way ! If your right handed .
What Broadhead are you using ??
I was scouting tonight near home , I saw a huge Buck and he was definatly on the prowl for Does ! Hope I can get out tomarrow .

I only felt bad for a minute, good idea on the quiver I will try it.

I used Goldtip LaserII with 100gr Spitfires.

Yesterday I was in the front yard and doe came tearing through the woods to the side of our house, a big buck right behind. Things are heating up this week. Hopefully my kids will get one.
