I was interested in finding a place to hog hunt a few years ago, and found an outfitter listed in Arkansas who specialized in hog and duck hunting. I called them up. He guaranteed he could put me on a hog if I came down. Since I can't get around too good, I asked him how they hunted. I did not want to be running around in the woods, but sitting in a blind would be good. He said the way they did it down there was to put one in a cage, give the hunter a pistol, and when they let it loose they were to shoot it as it came out!
I thought, oh man, that is great! I got to do it! JUST KIDDING!
I'm doing okay although this body I am in isn't doing so hot. But the Lord is giving me a new one, so why worry about it?

There are several WMAs and NWRs that have heavy hog populations; to the point of where they have become very detrimental to the deer herd. I jump on the opportunity as it arises to take one of these acorn vacuum cleaners! A good time to come and hunt these Arkansas rascals is after the first of the year. Kill all you want; the G&F says you can leave with them dead or leave them dead. They just can't leave alive!
