g'day mate good post ah. the simple fact is is that people should mind there own bisness, dont put your ugly head over my back yard & tell me what l should be doing & how to run my life l'm 52 l've done ok so far, use a rifle xbow stick bow or compound bow, l just dont care its your choice. here in western australia we have lost the right to own freely crossbows now you must be a collector or club shooter, no hunting, its sad. yet l can use my mathews switchback xt to hunt with, thats makes a lot of sence ah. l use to be very proud of being an australian but now with the control these knuckleheads are doing with our freedoms this country descusts me. absolutley!!! regards frank

i don't know about anybody else but if i'm going to take game @ +100yds. i'll use one of my rifles.  the reason i got the turbo was to get up close and personal to the game.  either way regardless of your method of close quarters hunting be it traditional or compound archery, x-bow, pistol etc... you still have to be on your game to take any animal close in.  the technology of today's x-bows is awesome and there is no doubt about the ability to take long shots but killing in close is where it's at.  they are really catching on here in the lone star and hunting is getting better because of it.
