I got the turret XL for Christmas, what a well made blind. Plenty of windows, srceens, roof hatch. The screens are openable so you dont have to shoot through and the big windows open without velcro very quiet. The window covers themselves open with no velcro, have button like fasteners with loops. Easy to open and no problem to get back into bag.Plenty of room for gear and 2 people. Hunter2:)

Just for the sake of curiosity, Hunter2, what is a roof hatch in a blind used to accomplish?  or shouldn't I ask?  That blind sounds like it has everything but a satellite dish.

I think that the roof hatch is intended to make the blind useful to waterfowlers.

I just ordered one of these too. I already have a KillZone two-man chair blind, and love it. Looking forward to the turret.

Killzone has them on sale for 99.99 and free shipping. They list for about 249.00. The roof hatch is for water fowl hunters. IO think it will be nice to open it to some degree to let heat out. I had it sey up indoors and you could tell the difference when the roof hatch was open. Early season hunting when the temps are higher or being in the south, will make this a welcome feature. I didn't think of waterfowling because I have not done it in years.  Makes a lot of sense for that and for venting when hot.  We rarely have the too hot problem up here:)

My new Turret XL showed up yesterday. All that I can say is "SaaWEEEEEET!!!"
With 11 shooting windows (all w/shoot through screens), a door, and the roof hatch, there is no issue of which direction to set up facing.

All inner windows have a loop & button type closure, so there are no noisey zippers. With the screens on, you can probably open or close windows w/o anything outside the blind being aware.

And it's plenty roomy. There is easily enough space for two hunters (even with the width concerns of x-bows), and their chairs/stools and other gear.

Now I just wish that I had another month of season instead of just one day. I might use it yet for a set over bait for yotes. If nothing else, it will be ready for next season........I can hardly wait.

I called Killzone and asked if it was ok to waterproof and they said it was ok to do so. It is from the factory just water resistant like most. I figured with seam sealer and some no smell spray would be better. :D

I think so as I only set it up once to make sure it was ok. I wouldnt want to shoot through the screen either. Its the best for the price I looked at.    Hunter2

that roof hatch is the cats *** for deer hunting. i just got mine in febuary and set it up in the garage. after sitting in it i got up unzipped the triangle hatch and my head just sticks out enough so i can see 360 over the top without looking like a pumpkin. i can see using this feature for streching the legs and back muscles after sitting for long periods of time. i duck hunt alot and i don't think this blind would work very well but hell it might. its like 7'x7'x 5' height lots of room you could have a 4 man card game inside this puppy and still have room to shoot deer. very happy with this 99$ pop  up. the only thing i can see that will have to be done to it is measure and cut a center support pole for  the center of the top in snow conditions as the fixture will undo for sure and possibly have a tear problem. no biggy.
