Most game regulations don't let you "project" a light of any kind on a deer.  Neither white light as in the dark  ... or lasers anytime.   I've already had guys debating if lighted vertical bow pins were legal because the game law definitions were somewhat vague.

Recently found that he red kind are barely visible at 10 yards in daylight. Green is said to be more visible but costs considerably more.
Phoenix, Vortex and Cyclone; single shot rifles and handguns.

Although legal in Mississippi, If you can't see it, there's no sense having one!
