You're exactly right! It's a safe haven from the storms that brew on other sites as well, so seems everyone is grateful to have a place they can speak freely and mention the C word without being bashed. That is the glue that bonds us and keeps us here. The words "Give us your tired and..." come to mind.

Now that the season is about over the infighting is starting up on the other forums. And what better to hit on? Yep the "C" word. Root of all evil as we know it. Amazing how much hate people have for something.

Well Said   I don't particularly look for a safe haven; but CROSSBOW NATION helps make you a better person.  Not much need to be "competitive, aggressive and adversarial"  :)

There was an old story floating around a few years ago.  It shows up now and then ... it goes something like:

"One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes
on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between 2 wolves.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,
self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride,
superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and
faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his
grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed." "

CROSSBOW NATION  feeds the Good Wolf."  :)  :o

That's good SEW.  Rom 1:20  explains how the Indians got so smart!;)

When I first landed here in a web search I knew this place was abnormally friendly for a message forum.  It is a very comfortable place.

Still a member of some of the other sites (unless they drop me for non-attendance) but THIS IS THE SITE I'm a PART of and YA'LL are a PART of me because of YOUR involvement IN MY LIFE.  THANKS for all the concern, support and encouragement you all have given me and my wife since my accident in October.   YA'LL ARE THE BEST.
The really nice thing about this site is "it doesn't matter what you use" there are postings of rifle hunting experiences (mine included), Muzzleloader's and Vertical bow hunts also (I'm waiting for the post about the slingshot hunt - may have to do it myself and then post it).  We're hunters who enjoy the pleasures of hunting and are mature enough to not care what the other guy is using (except maybe to learn something from him).  Congratulations XBO for starting this thread, but most of all CONGRATULATIONS to CBN and YOU the members that make it what it is.
