Hey all,
I'm wanting to make a target for practice and "plinking"
Like some have suggested on the forum, I plan on using empty woven poly stock feed bags, but am keen to know what you guys reccomend as the best fill material?
I will only be using field points and blunts, as I only hunt small game, so hopefully the bag won't get torn up too quickly.
I've read here and seen on youtube, target backstop bags filled with compressed plastic bags, carpet underlay and rubber garden mulch, but can any one reccomend any other stuff? I'm shooting a sub 300fps bow, and want to be able to pull the arrows out with ease.
Any ideas much appreciated!
Andy.

if you like having rags around, a good 30 pound box is an excellent target box. Or a 5 pounder. Cheap way to fly.

Hi everyone and happy new year! Been saving my old plastic water softener bags to try as fill for a box style target.I have been cutting off the hard plastic handle parts that might damage arrows.Anyone tried this? If not I will let you know how it works later.Love my VORTEX,IRHUNT.
