Why in the heck do some companies insist on putting a BLACK background to their advertising ?? This happens with crossbows and verticals. The bows are very hard to see !! If you wish to sell a product or get people excited about it, they MUST be able to see it clearly.

Interesting observation ... I never gave it any thought ... but you're right.  I think I don't give much credence to advertising propaganda, so it doesn't sink in too much.  Forums and photos probably get more "air time" with me.

Do they think it helps cut down on reflection from the bow or product? Just a thought. Hunter2

I think it imparts a mood to the subject, like it's baaad and dangerous and with a hunting item it makes it less visable and easily hidden from the preys eyes.  Or I could be full of it.  :D

I hate it when a site puts a bunch of stuff just trying to be fancy.  I usually end up shutting it down before it gets done loading all that stuff because I have dial up.  It takes many minutes, sometimes an hour or more for some of that junk to load up on my computer.  Just put what you need to for information and quit dolling it up with a bunch of crap.  I want info, not a vista of some mountain scene that I am going to shut down before it even gets finished loading.  Or, use your pull, Mr. Big Britches Company, get on the phone to whoever you can, and tell them that even poor people back in the country ought to have high speed internet too.  :D

Another thing I hate is when there is no pricing on something.  If there is no prices listed forget me buying it.  I'm not chasing down another dealer site for another half hour just to find out.  Give an msrp.  That also bothers me in a store I may be in.  Everything else can have a price and the one thing I want will not have a price with it.  Again, I'm not going to chase down a hard to find clerk and ask.  If it doesn't have the price like everything else does, evidently they do not want me to buy it, AND I DON'T!    :D

I feel better now.  Hey, let's go Krogering!  :)

I'm doing okay although this body I am in isn't doing so hot. But the Lord is giving me a new one, so why worry about it?

Ranger, you know you might have something there.
Usually, when you read or see an ad about a product and pertinent information is somehow missing from an advertisement they spent thousands of dollars for and months preparing, it is most likely something they are not proud of.

ranger,
i was  in ur position with dialup and after 15 years with it i finally made  the switch to satelite(hughes net) it is a little more expensive  but if you use the internet alot like i do(this is my mode of communicating) its well worth the extra cash IMO.
no price tags??maybe its free:confused::thumbsup:
