Is it so that excalibur crossbows are the only crossbow that you can uncock without shooting it?

Any recurve that does not have the auto safety and anti-dryfire mechanism can be uncocked with the rope cocker. I don't know if there are any out there besides Excal. I have found a way to uncock my husbands TenPoint but it is not advised or recommended.

Like lscha said, there are ways but most are not recommended by the manufacturer.

Scm twinnbow II can be uncocked without shooting.it's built right into the crossbow.
