Tommy, here's the mods I did to the Wildview Trailcam.

Pic 1 shows the overall setup.
Pic 2 shows the battery I use. As mentioned before, any 6 volt alkaline or lead acid battery will work. Lantern batteries last about a month continuous.

Pic 3 shows the wiring. + on the left button and - on the right spring. Try and route them as shown and you'll be able to use C cells when needed. Remember not to disconnect the battery until after you've downloaded the pictures if there is no SD card. With an SD card your safe.
