I just bought a new wildcat by barnett but i could have had a new parker for 299 or wicked ridge for 399 package both 150 pounds,
wicked ridge 150 pound package is just 399 and the parker 299 good light weight crossbows from good companys with good triggers its nice there is so many low cost quality crossbows on the market for 2010..

You do not have to spend a arm and a leg to go deer hunting with a crossbow unless you just want to..

for 400 bucks or less you can have a real hunter crossbow

Good Luck with the new bow!!!

I recently bought the Barnett Wildcat myself. Have not shot it alot but so far I love it. Never shooting a crossbow before I have to get use to it.

The Wicked Ridge also sounds good. I've been looking at the price of new ones and can't believe they're that much. I 'll continue to take great care of my old Magnum X2 as it has served me quite well.;)

sometimes ****'s sells 'refurbished/repaired crossbows & vertical bows for a good percentage less than new stuff; I'm not usually one to promote ebay, but I just won an auction on a Parker Terminator 175 HP for $350 on a new in box combo that MSRP'd for $649 until last year; just thought of another source...Sportsmans Liquidation stores/website have refurbished Parker Terminators for $460 vs the $649 for new ones; good hunting!!!

I would buy wicked ridge, because tenpoint stands behind this crossbow brand. I read, that wicked ridge crossbows have the power touch trigger!
