I give as a curiosity, as in Poland have a crossbow without permission is a crime and has not received authorization yet, no one. Also runner up of the world :-)

This crossbow looks like a toy made by a drunken craft, but it is extremely precise and accurate to construct a machine which costs $ 7000. Sights come from Germany, brodheads from Japan, shots from the U.S., some parts were manufactured in Finland and Poland.

Wow that thing looks like a star wars crossbow!  How much does it weigh all together?  It looks like it should come with a tripod.  I bet that fellow could drive nails with that bow.

I was just reading old post and I found this.
I'm a big friend of Piotr, That championship had been in Portugal, we shoot and live together during a week in target we had discuss the 5º place for 6 points distance during all competition.
And yes, the number of licences that are need to shoot crossbow in Poland are incredible. I think just in Spain the laws against crossbow are worse.
I see that in the picture Piotr had is new crossbow. He do is one crossbows and they are vey good, they are not so heavy, probably 5kg (mine have 7,6kg). A target crossbow don't cost 7000! I think the most expensive model are a Pirineos elevated rail that cost around 2500€. A crossbow of 7000 are the match crossbows a very complex crossbows that have electric triggers, shoot some quind of «pens» and just have to sights related to the strengh of the bow and the distances: 10m ou 30m... They are only made in 2 swiss companies, and the competitions are from IAU federation. If you open the site of IAU you can see that strange type of bows.

I will thel Piotr on Facebook to come to our Forum. It's a great guy (to drink some beers).
He is in to the World Champs in Australia during this month, so I will speak to him soon.
