Homemade Lighted Nock

I made a homemade lighted nock and it turned out great. :D I'll be using it at this Sunday's 3D archery shoot. It's a 40 target course. The last shoot I shot a 291. someone had a how to make them vidio on here, but I did not understand how you made them with flat nocks??  Yours look good, how did you do that, and are they safe?  I've heard of plastic nocks shattering.
