In preparation for next year’s session of the Mississippi Legislature, funding has been arranged so that the next four editions of the American Crossbow Federation Horizontal Bowhunter Magazine will be sent to all the members of both the Mississippi House and Senate Wildlife Committees.
Those committee members who are adamantly against crossbows may toss their copies, but they also might give it a glance. However, those who are on the fence and/or “crossbow curious” may read their copy and they may come to understand that hunting with a crossbow is not the evil that some would have them to believe.
If some of you live in States or Provinces where crossbow inclusion legislation may be on next years calendar, it costs Dan around $3.00 to print and bulk mail an issue or about $12.00 per legislator for four issues.
In our case, it cost us only $250 for members of both the House and Senate Wildlife committees to receive copies of the next four issues.

If those guys read that magazine from front to cover I'm sure it will give them positive vibes about our crossbows. That is a great idea and if you need a small contribution towards the cost, please let me know in a pm. Dee

We have raised $100.00 towards the $250.00. But, we still need $150.00.
Anyone or more of you who would like to help us reach the total of $150, we will be most appreciative.
In my opinion, I do not think that in the off legislative season, this might be one of the best legislative education options that we have come up with.
