I hope and pray every one here is OK and escaped the destruction of the tornado that hit your state.

huntingal,

Thank you for asking.

The tornado(s) traveled 35 miles, from the west to the north, of us. Miss Anne, Jackson and I are fine. At last count, ten souls have perished.

The spring and fall transition periods are our worst seasons for tornados. And just think; we have only 2 months to go before the beginning of hurricane season.

Not having ever been through a tornado I can only imagine. I have been through two strong hurricanes growing up down past Houston, so I do know how destructive Nature can be. Take care and I pray you all stay safe.

They were sure talking about Oklahoma this morning on the news. We're having our own tornado warnings this morning. One heading to San Antonio straight east. Was headed North East. I was watching since my pops lives there on that side of town. Lots of car accidents on loop 1604. That area is where Sea World is. Here it's just been thundering and lightning and some rain. Dark.
I hope everyone stays safe everywhere these spring storms are popping. It's eery to be close by. Stay safe!
