OK team I detect a direct challenge being tossed out way.NC Hillbilly 1 tossed out a challange to Us to finish ahead of them guys in pink tights.I then read the next column where MS. GIMMY tells Us We better talk now cause after the contests starts they were going to smoke Us so bad We wouldn't be able to talk.all I can say to that is the old southern answer(tain't gonna happen).We walk softly and shoot a straight sticks.Let's fill them pickups up with critters and show them all how to GITTER DONE. Is that smackin' as in "I coulda hit a deer and missed", OR smackin' as in "that deer will taste good when the Kill'em and Grill'em wins this and has a cookout for the rest of us?"

Well guys been working my butt off way too many hours. But wanted to let you know I'm still around didn't fly the coop. 3 weeks from tomorrow I depart for Colorado on my Elk hunt. I believe I'm ready  finiley got the guns sighted in (Lousy Remington CorLot ammo was giving me a fit ) I can't think of another thing I need (course till I get there) just time between me and it and am I pumped. Can't weight to post photos of the trip.

I'm offering a prayer for you N.C. guys because of the hurricane.  I pray you all will be o.k.  Being from Louisiana, I know how devastating it can be.  Please stay safe.

On another note.    N.C. plays LSU this weekend in Atlanta, and we are going to win that contest too.      I can feel it in my bones.

Just checking in!!!  This time next week I'll be in Colorado on my Elk hunt. Meeting my son in Denver and then off to Baggs Colorado via automobile. They say its about 4 hours from Denver. Oh man the wait is killing me. Talk some more when I get back.   Mike
