I'm doing okay although this body I am in isn't doing so hot. But the Lord is giving me a new one, so why worry about it?

I figured I'd explain about putting pictures on here in a separate post. You can do it two ways. One is post your pictures on Photobucket or one of those sites then upload it to here. I've done it a couple times, but I have to learn all over again every time I do it. So, someone else will have to explain that way.
The other way is to click on the Add Reply button. Right below where you type in your post is a section that says, Attachments. Click on Choose File. A new box comes up that allows you to browse the files on your computer. Find the picture you are looking for and select it. Then click on the red box Attach This File. Wait until the file name shows up where it says Choose File. Then hit Add Reply and you are done. It is pretty easy.
Now if you don't know how to get your pictures from your camera to your computer, then you need to tell us what kind of photo program you have on your computer. Someone who is knowledgeable of that program will have to chime in here and help you. If you know somebody personally who is a computer geek see if they will show you. It isn't hard, just a little different for each program. Or at least that is my experience in the little I've had doing it.
I know some of you don't know how to do it, and some of you don't want to do it, so it isn't a big deal, BUT--if you can make your picture a little smaller than the original picture size it will load up quicker for the you AND for the reader, especially if you have dial up like me. Sometimes I have to wait for fifteen or twenty minutes to see pictures if several big ones have been posted on the same page. There will be many pictures going up some days, so it will be tough on me and some others to see them if they are all big, and I have to keep up with all scores too. I'm not saying anyone has to do it, it is entirely up to you. I only dock 100 points for big pictures. I'M KIDDING, FOLKS!
If anyone has any more questions or can explain things better don't hesitate to jump in here!

Open up the Paint program. Look in files and open the picture you want to downsize. It may be bigger than the screen. Then click on Images and open up Stretch and Skew. When the little box comes up you will see where it says Horizontal and Vertical with 100 % being shown in the boxes. Just erase the 100 in both boxes and replace with 25%. Hit enter. Your picture will be 1/4 the size it was. Be sure to save it to the new size. It is easy as pie, and the picture is still as clear as when it is big.
If 25% happens to be too small to show a tine or something important then try 35 or 40% or what ever.
Now another thing you can do is crop the picture down to where just the deer, the weapon, and/or you are in the picture leaving out all the other stuff. You can do that on paint also.
I know some don't like to downsize, but all the pictures I ever put on here are downsized from 3000 X 2700 pixels to around 100 kb and they all come out fine. So, if at least some of you don't mind to do it would be nice. I am noticing on pages where 3 or more big pictures have been posted I am waiting up to 30 minutes before I can even see them. Not only would it help me, but anyone else who is on dialup. And if you are on dial up, the instructions I gave above will help you to be able to post your pictures faster too.
Thanks,
Ranger
