Congrats, dbllungem!  Can't tell how many points you are counting there.  Is that a 6 scoring points with 10 bonus points?  Just making sure.  I'll go ahead and stick 170 on the scoreboard.  If it is different just let me know and I'll fix it.

Hey guys, I shot a nice doe on opener but I forgot to get pics for the contest!!!!What a Dunb A__! Well there are plenty of doe tags so I'll go shoot another this weekend!!!

Well I had been seeing probably the same 10 -12 does and youngins on my farm for the last month. Then yesterday I saw a gorgeous eight that made the hair on the back of my neck tingle. He passed by me three different times in about a 30 minute period. Heart is pounding. First rack I'd seen all season but couldn't get him to come in range. I'm the world's worst grunt caller and I left my bleat can in the barn. He finally said goodbye (and I said I'll see ya later!) When there was maybe 20 minutes of evening twilight left the girls showed up for their clover munch. Because the eight got me so fired up and then nothing that this time I was going to go ahead and take one of these ladies back to the barn with me... (but I'm still gonna pop that buck )
