Hi Guys,

I need some help identifying the correct thread size for my Tac15i,

Since the Customs here in Australia have seized my collapsible stock and the
mounding tube, I have decided to make my own, however for some reason I cant
ID the correct thread size in the back of the crossbow where the tube normally
screws in,

I tried asking PSE however I get no reply hmmmm?

If someone here already knows the thread size could you please let me know, thanks.

That most certainly is the same as the AR15 (semi-automatic rifle) buffer tube/stock thread size, since the Tac 15i stock design is based on that weapon.  I found the following discussion on a home machinist forum that has a lot of information for you to go through, including a link to CAD drawings that should help:

Those that seem to know say the threads are 1 3/16 16TPI.

I know its crazy but here in Australia we have very firm gun laws
as such the customs realized the stock comes from an AR15 firearm
therefore a "prohibited item",

Good thing they let you keep the trigger assembly. That's straight off the AR design, too.

You know what? they tried to seize that too, but I had to convince them by writing many letters and send photos,
to show that there is no way the trigger can be modify and adopted to make a fully functioning fire arm, I nearly gave up in the end, but it was worth it in the end.

The word anal does come to mind. So if you got a part shipped to you by mail they examine or open the package?  That is crazy as heck.
