It's kind of sad that no one has visited this site since June, me included. UL gave us this part of CN for the Mississippi hunters to use, to share experiences and to just visit.
I'll start my visit by saying that I hope the Miss. Crossbow Federation had a successful extravaganza last month in Jackson. Obviously I didn't win any of the 5 crossbow's donated for this fair. I wish I could have been there to help and to mingle among the rest of ya'll, and I had every intention of doing so just to meet some of you. But the grandchildren had my weekend planned and they always comes first.
Hubby and I are getting ready for the opening day of Archery as are all of you and I decided to give my old blue 4 wheeler a face lift (wash job). Well, I let her sit up too long without starting her and now she is making me pay for it. I think I'll have to take it in to have someone look at it. Nothing like waiting until the last minute, which is something that I never ever do, until now. I guess as we get older, the easier it is to put things off.
I hope everyone has a great season and a safe one, so we can all come back here and tell our stories of the hunt. I'm sure there will be plenty to tell once Oct. 1 gets here.
Let's try to keep communication open here, between members. It's always nice to hear from neighbors.

What's even sadder is that 43 people viewed this thread and no one added to it. I guess the Mississippi Federation thread is closed.

Just can't let this go without replying, even if I'm not from Mississippi. Hopefully, the quad will only take some minor tweaking and be back up and running. Better you find out a problem now than later.....like when that monster buck is a mile from home.....And, once your season opens up, activity in this particular forum will increase....

Yes, I have viewed this thread 3 times now and have not responded. I do not live in Mississippi so I really have nothing to post here.

i feel the same : I am not hunting in your state so I don't feel it is my place to post here . I like to try and keep up with what's going on all around but keep my business to myself when I don't feel I have any right to post.

I was referring to the MS hunters when I said, no one left a post here. I wasn't to clear on that, sorry. This is our own little corner of CN and it's going to waste. Maybe there aren't that many members on CN from MS. Maybe that is the problem. Or like briarbatch said, maybe when the season starts, there will be more activity here. I hope so. Dee

Gimmy,
I hope everything works out for you before your season begins. I just didn't feel right about posting in the Mississippi members section. I love reading your commets and your humor. I know when I log on you will have had something great to say so just keep the comments coming
