I bought a Strykeforce this past winter as well as a Hawke SR scope. I love the bow as well as the scope but I went to mount the scope today and in order to obtain the proper eye relief I am 2" short on rail spacePosted Image[/img]. I am a typical 6'0 185lb guy so it is not that I have a structural issue causing the eye relief problem. I am estimating that the  relief is 5" and I would need 3" to make things work out. Has anyone else run into this issue? I hops so because I would hate to have to purchase another scope.

I have three Hawke scopes, one on my Strykeforce and have no problems with eye relief.
Photo is typical position of mounting of scope.

Can you tell me when you have the check weld about how far is your eye from the scope?

Thanks,

Tem

My wife measured while I held the Strykeforce in shooting position, she advised three and a half inches, but that could vary a bit each way and still be OK.

I think I solved my own problem, as I am obviously not familiar with the offset on the stock. I moved it up higher on my shoulder and the eye relief improved tremendously. I will call that one user error, and thanks for your help.

i mounted a lumizone on my sf. i owned the scope before i bought the bow. i bought a i piece, stepped set of rings and that put the scope far enough down the rail to make it comfortable. if you need the ebay seller's name let me know. it sounds like you have the problem solved.

Leapers makes a one piece AR-15 1" offset mount in 1" and 30mm that will cost you about 14.00 from Optics Planet or other places and it solved the problem nicely.  I have to use them on all my crossbows and had on my Desert Stryker when I owned one.

The longer power stroke crossbows like the DS, SF and Scorp all have their  scope rails placed farther  tothe rear which creates problems for some shooters. I learned to position my head farther to the rear and found  that it was quite comfortable shooting that way, especially from tree stands.
