i hunt the first half of the season with a bow and the second half with a xbow. the TRT was a treat carrying around and in a tree it was great. it is so small and light yet very powerful. i couldn't be happier with my choice. for the range or something similar i would pick a heavier bow but for hunting this is just the ticket. my choice was the TRT or the Vision and the weight of the vision made me choose the TRT.
on another note i was hunting late evening then early the next morning. when i got out of the truck to go hunting i found that i misplaced my rope cocker. i was able to cock it by hand to hunt but i had to think if i did that with a Vision i wouldn't be hunting that day, that was anothe reason i picked the TRT.
i do like the Vision and if the new models have reduced the weight a little i'll have one in the spring.
