I use one on my Predator. It was damaging on the original string wrap but I haven't seen any damage on the wrap I replaced it with. I like it because I can esily cock the bow in a tree stand. I take it off the bow after cocking it (I do not even put the holding screws in when using it). It's really a personal choice but I like it and use it all the time.
