It is official now 1st Art exhibit opening

If you would like an invitation send a PM with your address. The gallery is in Potomac Village and will be wine and cheese along with platters of munchies.
June 15th 5-9PM

Thought I would post this , I am so stroked, I offered to share the opening with another seasoned artist who sells out usually and is oped up to me with a lot of suggestions on do's and don't. This should be very good , she is an extreme abstract artist and well you know my work. Wish me luck.

2nd bird down

Yesterday hunted all day, not one gobble so this morning at 3 am im woken in pain and take pain killers and back to sleep. I get a call from up stairs @ 5 lets go. @ 530 my buddy is just about the door and I follow. There was no way I could handle the riggers of the day again. So I drive upto the barn grab the gun and headed to the pop up blind with a comfie seat. Walking up the hill I hear a deep gobble , he's right over the pop up and it's day light. I settle in under a cedar and start talking. Soon I have 5 Toms all competing. The 1st guy comes to check me out but diverts to the field at 50 yds.. I continue to talk with 4 stutters. Then a lone hen starts talking to me. She walks in from the field and heads to meet up with the 4 boys. Then the 1st Tom comes in the woods 5 minutes later at 30 yds . I yelped, he gobbled, he died. @ 7:15 I was done.

got in a hunt today

I'm still at . After 3 Weeks mending I'm getting out. Called old tom within 35yds today but he slid in with some thicket between us . Although I had a small hole to maybe make a clean kill , but like in deer hunting if I not 100% the game will get a pass. I've been chasing this bird 2 years hopefully next week I can tag him.*I got in about 2 miles of walking the rolling hill side this morning but by 2 pm I was down on the couch testing. The biggest problem with broken ribs is abtaining comfort. I need a pillow for my back against the tree. Lol_________________
