....I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY STORY OF MY FIRST CROSSBOW SHOT @ A DEER.....I have one year and a half as a newbie to this sport...........i have hunted last winter with know luck but lots of pictures....well any ways,,, as fall hunting in NJ was going on  ,, i was invited by my co worker to check out his hunting club property to see if i wanted to join....i was invited to hunt on this 200+ acre farmland land with plenty of tree lines that diveded the sections of fields connected to  WMA....we went late October....as he showed me all the property and plenty of treestands and boxes to chose from.....we came across a BUCK and 5 DOES next to him about 100 yrds away from us as we sat in the truck.....we backed away and left the area to prep for the afternoon hunt....at about 3:30 i took to the ladder stand that was across the deer we seen earlier...I sat there in the tree line with 2 fields left and right of me...i took out a BUCK BOMB doe in estrus and set it off and dropped it to the ground below....i grunted my call about 4-5 times and watched below to see the bomb to its justice....15 seconds later i lifted my head up to see around my 2 fields.....to my surprise...@ my 11 oclock infront of my tree line out comes out what looks like 4-6 POINTER WITH HIS NOSE UP in the air going to my 10-9-8 oclock....i was sitting duck and couldnt move from shock...plus there were to many branches that have not been trimmed off....i stood up and grunted at him to stop,,,i did that about 6 times....aimed and shot...i did not find my arrow or blood...but the next day i got a call from my co-worker to come down and get my 8 pointer some 150 yrds away...MY FIRST
