Has really gotten me thinking. I thought yrs ago that If my prayers for happiness were answered I would have it all. After 60 some yrs of thinking about this, I think praying for Wisdom would be best. Any thoughts?

She had a massive stroke last Thursday, wiped out the whole right side of her brain. Too much Income for subsidized care and not enough for private. We don't know what we are going to do. Thank you

The first time

My son took a stand by himself is something I will never forget. He was eleven years old and I dropped him off at at the end of a dead end Rd on one of our leases. It was about 40 minutes before day break and he was going to walk down an old logging Rd to the Cattail swamp. He smiled ,turned and walked away. I was going to take a stand about 200 yrds from my truck but as I saw him walk off into the darkness I just sat there until sunrise listening and praying that he would be OK. All turned out well but that morning I had a feeling of helplessness I had never before felt.
