About Me

In 1998 I was injured in a dirt bike crash which rendered me a c-4 quadriplegic. I have always hunted and realized I could still hunt after my injury. A friend of mine started a company building adaptive equipment for handicapped hunters. This company is called Be Adaptive Equipment. Now he helps many disabled people around the country access the outdoors. Because of my disability I made the transition from compound bow to crossbow. After shooting a crossbow I realized how much it was like shooting a compound. The legend of it shooting like a gun was just that. I soon became a so-called rebel crossbow shooter and have loved it ever since.

i don't think it would matter what he claimed, 4-5 in. group maybe. he could even post some pics of it, and you would have some negative comment about it. if he's shooting at targets whats the big deal?

looks like you were not one of the UPers against crossbows. have any of your friends given you grief about using a xbow? congrats on a nice buck.

it's up to you to pull the trigger on one or not, but waiting isn't going to help. my belief is that xbow users are always going to have to deal with a certain amount of failure rates. with that said, a high percentage is unacceptable. if you look at many different threads on this forum many bows are having limb problems. some worse than others. what ever you buy make sure of the warranty. tac is life time on limbs.
