Personally, I don't care what anyone hunts with or the brand it is. I'm "Pro" hunting not "Anti" in any fashion.

Hi Howie,
Jig-a-loo is a great lube and water proofer. Its a silicon based product. However, it does have a chemical carrier agent that evaporates very quickly, leaving a dry silicon film. The carrier agent will remove paint and eat some plastic or composite surfaces. I would only use it on an aliminum rail.
Although, I do use it now for water proofing feathers and its the bomb for that.
In extreme heat I use ML6 from BCY for both the strings and rail because its thicker and stays longer. In cooler weather like during season I will use the Barnett lube.

Do they have the same trigger?
I thought the Jackal had a superior, lighter and more predictable trigger setup (with anti dry fire)?
From all the great press here about the Jackal, it would seem it is the more refined and up to date of the two. That, and the asking price, would make it a no brainer for me.
Just my 2 cents.

That is true!

Best advice would be to make a trip to a shop where you can handle both. Fit and Feel go above anything else. I really don't see how you could go wrong with either. Performance wise its a 5fps difference and thats about it.
