Well after looking at a picture of another Model 16, I'm not sure what I have. This gun has a different way of releasing the barrel than the one I saw in the picture.

Very helpful. From what the book says, the 16 gauge only came in two models. The 16 and the 30-16. Based on what the book says on how the gun comes apart, I have the Model 16. I was really getting into it and the preview that google has did not let me read anymore pages. I did find from another google search that that it came in four grades. A,B,C, and D. I'm pretty sure I have the C grade which is the second best.
