About Me

I am 68 and retired from a vegetable research job with a major university. I used to live in the desert but moved to SW Colorado in 2004. I love the mountains and live about 30 min drive from the San Juan National Forest. I have hunted all my life with various weapons. I have taken several deer and elk with a bow and currently have a long bow, and two compound bows. Due to shoulder surgery I was unable to hunt with a bow the last two years but took a nice buck this year with my muzzleloader. Now while I can still hunt I wanted to try a crossbow.

I just purchased a Parker Hornet Extreme. I just started shooting it and all I can say is AWESOME !!!!!
