It was a great success and surpassed my expectations! There are so many wonderful, supportive people out there and I'm so glad they showed up. We had a great time at the dinner too.

The auction was so entertaining with Mike Avery. We thank him for supporting us and helping us to make this such a memorable event.

Some of our forum members made out pretty darn good. I'm glad they did! no one went home empty handed and some got sweet deals on the auction items.
I'm getting ready to plan for the next one. More pictures and thank you's will be posted on the MCF Facebook page. https://www.facebook...ichiganCrossbow

A big thanks to Senator John Gleason for a generous donation of a Michigan Flag that was flown at the capitol. We found that Senator Gleason has a talent for delivering powerful messages interlaced with some dry humor. We were happy to have him there.

I agree with you, Irish. Not to mention our license fees are lower than most states. Compared to other states, we also have plenty of state land too. People don't realize how little state land other states have.
If Michigan residents want something changed, it can usually be accomplished if they take the time to address the people responsible for the regulations. More hunters need to sit in on the NRC meetings to understand why things are the way they are instead of assuming. I may not agree with everything but compared to other states, we have it good.
I'm glad I live in Michigan.

I want one of those spinning targets!! It made me a little nervous though, when the challenge involved speedy cocking, arrow seating and safety. (coming from an Excal shooter) LOL!
