I was looking at this gun up close, it has a black coated bolt. Does anyone know if this wears or gets scuffed up as it is cycled back and forth. Does anyone own one that may know.

Range finder with angle compensation

I decided to repost a post of mine on the Nation.
The incline option to me is hype for the avererage bow hunting ranges people shoot. It seems most wont even consider shots over 30 yards and most hunt at 20 ft or lower in tree stands. Pythagoreans theorem a2+b2=c2---2equals squared. The above example most peoples max 30 yards=90ft=8100+20ft=400=8100+400=8500.8500sqrt=92.1954 or 30.73 yards. The point is it makes less than 1 yard difference, incline is a feature not needed and is proven by math and experience. 30 yards vs 30.73 yards. I have a Brunton 440 range finder and it works great and I have checked it against other range finders and the results are great.
