I am glad to join your forum as it seems there is alot of information here that is very useful to me as I start to hunt with a crossbow . Haven't actually got one yet but hopefully with all the info on your site I will be able to find one that fits my needs and desires . I have hunted fairly successfully with a bow for several years though I did more when I was young though not as successful as in the last few years . I have had a lot more success with a gun(deer , pigs in Florida and South Carolina and elk in Colorado).

Thanks for this site. I'm new to crossbows but have been hunting for 45 years. Found lots of good info here over the past couple months and ultimately led me to being the proud new owner of a Scorpyd SLP 165 with Optimizer and Hawke illuminated reticle scope. Thanks for the welcome. Certified lover of firearms and new to the crossbow. My wife bought me a Barnett Penetrator for Fathers Day. Love it, love it, love it. Not sure if I'll try hunting with it this year, but it is sure fun to shoot. Look forward to learning more from the more experienced shooters on this forum.

Yo from NW Georgia, I shoot a hoyt alphamax and hunt w/ wife.. and dad uses a xbow. Now we're getting a xbow to hunt with too and love this site! erik

Hello everyone,

I have returned to bow hunting with a cross bow. I have been out of bow shooting for almost 30 years but decided to re-enter with a PSE Tac 15i crossbow. I love it!!!! I will be hunting MI UP this year and next year WI also, when I turn 65, the legal age limit here in WI for crossbow hunting without a handi-cap. Have already ordered some gear from the store and read many posts and look forward to reading more.
