Hi..I'm new to crossbows..
I picked up a 120lbs crossbow a while ago..
It came with 3 alloy bolts...I have just got some carbon
bolts..BUT what weight heads would be the best for hunting
with a 120lbs crossbow..was going to get those 3 blade ones
but there is so meany choises in weight ...
What weight should I be looking at ??

what sort of FPE should I be able to get from it...

Most of us use 100 gr heads. I don't know what your manufacturer recommends but you want a FOC of approx 11 - 20% normally the higher the better for BH's.

I just switched to 125grn. Wanted a bit higher foc and a bit more punch downrange. My total arrow weight is 356grns

I am using a Horton Legend 150. What is the recommended weight of the total bolt with broadhead. I've been told anywhere's from 400gr-500gr. I can't find the info on the horton website. Any recommendations. I would like to switch from the Muzzys I've been using and find another 100gr or 125gr broadhead. The Muzzys never seemed to be consistant on shot placement.

Picked up some 125gr field tios and I'm am dead on at up to 35yds. I put 7 bolts into a 2 inch circle. I even pulled a robin hood. It heat the bolt in the bag head on a richocheted to the right big time. It was awsome to see. I wish it would've stuck in there though so I had the exact proof. It hit a 2nd bolt while richocheting and broke the nock on that 1. So nnow I just have to decide which broadhead I'm going to go with. I'm stuck between a Rage 125gr and a 125 slick trick. I will not go back with the muzzy's again.

I'm not a fan of rage could never get consistant Grouping, I went and have had excellent success with Slick Tricks.

They are Arrows, "Bolts where used to pierce Armor"

The manufacturer's recommendations are normally found in the owner's manual. If you do not possess one, contact your manufacturer's service center. They should be able to help you. The warranty on some bows is tied to being at or above the total recommended arrow weight.
