They WILL weigh your arrows! If you are underweight, well, then you're just shooting for fun. Bump them up to about 452 grs to be safe.

How would you bump your arrows up by only four grains? glue dots?

Depends on how your arrows are set up. You can use lead shot between the tip and insert weight, sections of 8-32 threaded rod screwed behind the tip, stuff tissue paper down the shaft, glue inside shaft/nock, lots of ways.

Don't go just to the minimum weight, go over a couple of grains to be safe, their scale might read different than yours!

Had a great time, and it was great to meet you guys. hopefully i can have next year go off with less glitches... but all in all it was well worth the trip, and a good learning experience. You guys will have to come up for a Canadian championship sometime, its a 2 day shoot as well but its 40 targets each day for a total score of 880.

oh, and just as info for future they allow a maximum variance of +or- 13.5 grains, but from what i saw i wont be putting and rules to the test or pushing any boundaries. they seem to take that kind of stuff pretty seriously.
