I am not a bench rest shooter. I am not patient enough to do so. I don't check FOC, I don't check shafts for runout, I don't index anything. I don't weight anything. All I did was to slap things together and shoot it for fun. Pure entertainment. For serious killing I take out my Excalibur Vortex and whack deer. The reason for buying the 165 and shooting at 70 yards was only to entertain myself. I like to get close to deer before pulling the trigger or touching off my release on my compounds and I like to spot and stalk. My last deer was spotted at 50 yards and I took it at 15 yards. Anyone who shoots at a whitetail deer at 100 yards is an idiot.

Boo,
For clarification, I normally mention that tgt shooting and hunting ranges are not the same. If we practice out to extreme ranges, then the hunting ranges will easier.

Another vote for the CE Aramid KE arrows. They shot much better than the Victory shafts.Going to stick with them unless something better comes along. Got a repeatable 1.5 at 40 yds and no fliers. Thanks for the report on these they look like the solution to the 165.
