They helped to quiet the bow down but the best thing was they took out a ton of the vibration.

That looks great. How did you make them and i wonder if they would work on the bushwacker?

I used the existing hole in the riser to mount them with a button head allen screw (with blue lock tite and lock washer). I used a piece of aluminum to get the suppressor out past the riser and past the serving, slight bend near rod for correct angle to string.. The rubber stops were purchased (I think they are from PSE) The rods are from a 3/8" bolt with the head removed (rubber stops slide right over). The nuts are 3/8" Nylock nuts (won't vibrate loose. The backers were made from a piece of hard rubber (an old hockey puck) shaped and sanded to fit the riser, with a couple of screws thru the aluminum to hold them in place. Then last, I painted them black.

Nice setup. I like this style better than the bent bolt ones I have seen on other forums. I think I will make a set of these soon. Were the backers necessary?

Don't really know if the backers were necessary or not. I used Aluminum flat stock and just figured I'd back it up with a rubber backer to make sure they didn't bend and possibly help even more with dampening vibration.

This suppressor design is great! Thanks so much for posting pics and comments.
I am impatiently awaiting the arrival of a Parker Enforcer, so this is right up there on my 'to do' list. I was going to ask where you found the bumper....had no luck tracking PSE down....However, I did find a great looking bumper made by Limbsaver. Used on vertical compounds , it fits any 3/8 rod it says. I ordered 2 for pretty cheap so they should be here not long after the Xbow. Now if I had a practice hockey puck to cut in two....I'd be in business. Can't seem to find one locally.
Thanks again....looking forward to a quiet 'thud' followed by a bigger 'thud' when meat meets ground. ;)

We found the PSE bumpers at the Hock Shop in Port Huron, Mi. You could Google thier name to find their website.
Any piece of hard rubber should work for the backers. I was scrounging around, looking for a piece of solid rubber and all I could find around the house was a hockey puck. Another thing to do to help with vibration is to take a piece of soft rubber hose and thread it around the foot stirrup. I haven't tried it but I was told it works.
