Should there be a gap in the limb retention strap? There is a gap between the limbs and the the limb retention strap, (on both limbs) should it be there? I've never noticed if it was there when I first got the crossbow. What is the purpose of this strap? Is it to keep the limb tight against the...

Hello from Germany, I have lately gotten alot in silenceing my crossbows...especially the Micro 340 and 330BD. Well rather noise reduction than silenceing. I have read alot of comments of people stating thst they don't really use any dampeners because of enhanced limb life. Can this be true...

I thought... What if my Assassin 400 cocking crank fails in the field? So I purchased a cocking aid rope. Next I tried to cock the 325 pound draw with a Excalibur cocking rope! Ouch! Not even close. Not as strong as I used to be. So is there a crank out there that can adapt to the Assassin 400TD?
  4. Crossbow Safety and Education
I'm a very safety conscious person and want to reduce any possibility of being injured. Are there any types of PPE that will protect me, in the event an arrow shatters on the rail or there is a misfire? I own a Excalibur Grizzly with an EXT Charger crank.

Hey guys, so I am an owner of several different chinese crossbows and now I want something with higher quality. Do you think the bd440 is great? I heard that excals often suffer from broken limbs and also the crank should only last a couple hundred shots till it breaks down. What do you say

Hello all, new to crossbows. Bought my Assassin Strata Nov. of 2018 and killed a nice 8pt with it. Anyways, this year I bought some custom bolts for it. The beauty of Excalibur crossbows lies in their simplicity and durability. With no cams and only a single string, there are fewer things that can go wrong – and those things are usually easy to fix when they do. But for some, the down side is the weight of the limbs. With some models featuring...

I was out deer hunting,in South Western Ontario last week and saw this Wiley ba*stard sneaking around. Not on my watch... 9. Excalibur Crossbows
My xbow is an Excalibur. Is the lever's purpose to hold an arrow in place in case of tilting? If I was to need to tilt my crossbow at say a 45 degree angle to take a shot, how would this affect my desired point of impact?

Earlier this week I picked up the new flagship model from Excalibur Crossbow - the Assassin. At first glance the Assassin looks familiar, as it has the same front end as the Micro platform crossbows. However, everything behind the front end is all new - including a silent cranking system and a...

CrossbowNation.com is attending the 2018 ATA Show and we had a chance to talk to Excalibur Crossbows about its new flagship model - the Excalibur Assassin. If the Excalibur Assassin looks familiar at all, it's because it shares the front end with the Micro Suppressor. But the rest of the bow is...
