My son and I took our rifles out to zero them in for next week's deer season and I decided to take my Carbon Express Piledriver 390 out to try a shot at 100 yards. My arrow is a Spynal Tapp Hunter from South Shore Archery. I used a rest but it was not set up properly for a crossbow, so I am very pleased with the results.
Absolutely not. Wednesday, I had a very nice 10 point buck only come out of the brush at 86 yards and passed on it without a second thought. My distance limit hunting is 45. I regularly practice out to 50 yards and shoot 1" groups at that distance.
